Q: Has the hotel got free parking?
A: Yes. We have 9 spaces in our front car park and 22 in our rear car park. At very busy times it is not always possible to accommodate all guests’ cars in our car parks but our reception team will do their best to find somewhere for you or give directions to the nearest pay and display car park.
Q: Do we have to reserve parking?
A: No. On most occasions there is ample parking for all of our guests. If we are full there is a pay and display car park about 5minute walk from our rear car park.
Q: Is there a 24hr reception service?
A: The Receptionists are available from 7.30am – 10.00pm. From 10.00pm – 7.30am there is a Night Porter on duty, to assist guests throughout the night.
Q: Do you offer early check-ins and late check-outs?
A: At quiet times our rooms may be ready before 3pm but we cannot guarantee this. Checkout time is 10.30am and we request that all guests settle their room account by this time. However, on quiet days, it may be possible to arrange a later checkout with the reception staff.
Q: Is there somewhere I may leave my luggage at the hotel?
A: Yes. We have an area where luggage may be kept. The hotel will not accept responsibility for any damage or loss to your belongings whilst stored at the hotel.
Q: Are there hairdryers in all the rooms?
A: Yes we provide hairdryers in each of our rooms.
Q: Are there Laundry facilities at the hotel?
A: Unfortunately we are unable to offer a laundry service to guests. There is a launderette in the town and the receptionists are more than happy to direct you to this facility.
Q: Are there irons & ironing boards available?
A: Deluxe rooms all have iron and ironing boards in the rooms. Guests in standard rooms may request them from reception, free of charge.
Q: Is there free Wi-Fi?
A: Yes. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the hotel, in the bedrooms and communal areas, to all guests.
Q: What time is the Restaurant open?
A: Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.30am. The Lighthouse Bistro and Bar Menu are available from 6.00pm-8.30pm.
Q: Do you offer room service and is there a charge?
A: Room service is available during our restaurant service. There is a £5.00 charge.
Q: Is there a lift to all floors?
A: The lift runs from our ground floor reception up to the third floor.
Q: Are the rooms all ensuite?
A: Yes, all our rooms are ensuite. Most standard rooms have compact shower rooms. Deluxe rooms offer a larger ensuite and some ensuite rooms have a bath.
Q: Are there tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms?
A: Yes. We offer a complimentary tray with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits in all of our rooms.
Q: What does ‘Chy’ mean?
A: ‘Chy’ is Cornish for ‘house’ we are ‘Chy an Albany’ meaning House on Albany Terrace
