Geevor Tin Mine The largest preserved mining site in the UK, Geevor was a working mine until 1990 and is now a museum featuring many surface buildings, an underground tour of 18th & 19th century workings, a shop and a cafe. Open all year round every day except Saturday, from 9am to 5pm in the summer months and 10am to 3 pm in the winter.
