St Ives September festival- 11th 25th September 2010

Penzance Proms- 23rd -31st October 2010
The first ever music festival to be held in Penzance, the week will comprise an electric range of music at a variety of locations throughout Penzance. There will be lunchtime and evening sessions as well as various workshops throughout the day.

Newlyn Arts Festival – 11th -14th October 2010
For the first time, Newlyn is set to have a festival celebrating the work of artists, writers and performers who live or work primarily in the village.

Truro City Lights- 17th November 2010

Montol Festival- 13th -20th December 2010
Montol is a festival based on the midwinter (From Advent to Candlemas) and Nedelik (Christmas) traditions of Cornwall and in particular the traditions of Penzance. During the week there is a wide range of activities such as Guise Dancing, lighting the mock, lantern parades, a Montol Market & much more!

Mousehole Lights- Saturday 18th December – 2nd January 2011
There will be the usual open-air Carolaire service at the entrance to the North Quay. The ‘Carolaire Choir’, comprising of the Mousehole Chapel Choir and members of the Mousehole Chapel Choir, together with the Pendeen Silver Band, will lead the community singing. The 2010 switch on will be held at 7.30pm. From Sunday 19th December the lights will be switched on from 5pm until 11pm.

St Ives - New Year 31st December 2010
St Ives has a national reputation for celebrating New Year’s Eve by the sea with lots of laughter and spirit. Fancy dress is not compulsory, but most people make an effort and with the crowds of people you may perhaps look out of place without fancy dress. The streets of St Ives are filled with people with music and at midnight, the New Year starts with some fabulous fireworks on the harbour. Always a night to remember!
